The common perception of witches is often wicked old women who have wrinkled skin, pimples, and pointy hats. They wear clothes that are black, warts on their noses and sometimes long claw-like fingernails.
Many years ago, witches would often be killed for practicing their art "witchcraft", which was always seen as an evil practice. Whilst most were hanged, some were drowned, pressed to death and even burned at the stake. It is no wonder, witches refuse to reveal themselves in today's world.
The truth is, witches are just like people; there are good ones and bad ones. They dress just like everyone else and most witches are in fact beautiful. How can they not be when they have the ability to cast any spell that they want, including one to make themselves very, very, attractive. As for witchcraft being an evil practice, witchcraft is merely the practice of, and belief in, magical skills. Magic, being a good thing.
Witches come in all shapes and sizes, whilst the majority of them are woman, some of them are men. They also have the ability to pose as other creatures, often opting for the domestic cat, their favorite disguise as cats get spoiled the most by humans and are usually left to their own devices, unlike the dog that constantly gets put on the lead. So, it will be no surprise to you that the majority of households have a witch living among them usually curled up at the end of their beds.
Witches live all over the world and will never reveal themselves, sometimes not even to each other. Not because they are scared, simply because they are clever enough and modest enough to stay hidden. However, never forget that they are here, witches are everywhere, one may even be watching you right this very moment. They mean you no harm, the good ones that is, let's just hope you never run into an evil one.
