The Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly (Papilio glaucus) is the State Butterfly of Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, and the State Insect of Virginia, It is native to eastern North America, ranging north to southern Ontario, Canada.
