Caffeine Chemical Formula (Coffee Structure)

Coffee is a beverage brewed from roasted coffee beans. Darkly colored, bitter, and slightly acidic, coffee has a stimulating effect on humans (Caffeine is a bitter, white crystalline purine, a methylxanthine alkaloid, and is chemically related to the adenine and guanine bases of deoxyribonucleic acid) Caffeine has a structure similar to purine. It is made of eight carbon, ten hydrogen, four nitrogen, and two oxygen atoms. Its chemical formula is C8H10N4O2.
