Dauphin Island, Alabama

Dauphin Island, Alabama, is a barrier island, which is known for its Audubon Bird Sanctuary, the 19th century Fort Gaines, Sea Lab and the Estuarium, a ferry that travels across the mouth of Mobile Bay, as well as white sand beaches, both sunrises and sunsets and many other attractions. Dauphin Island is known as the Sunset Capital of Alabama.
