Medieval and Renaissance Tiles

Ceramic and Terracotta tiles, usually with a repeating pattern, became popular in the late Medieval and Renaissance period, especially in Italy, Spain and Southern France - they frequently featured animals, often heraldic beasts, such as lions and leopards.
