Merry Maples

This collection of products is based on two paintings of Maple blooms, namely Norway Maple and Big Leaf Maple. After a long winter when the last snow melts and the trees receive rain showers in April, these blooms erupt in abundance out of the bare brown branches of the Maple trees in May. The brown trees tingle with joy with many chartreuse colored blooms. Hence I call then Merry Maples! Think of it as mother nature's hands holding many babies. The blooms are tiny in size, dainty in form. They appear high up in the air and look fuzzy from a distance. However their innocent beauty deserves close inspection. The paintings reveal their dainty tenderness like a human baby with tiny fingers and toes. The miracle of life! With the passage of time they leave a smattering of pollen and petals on the ground and quickly disappear or get out numbered by leafy clusters. So this collection captures this evanescent joy of spring so that you can savor it all year long!
