Rembrandt, Head of Christ (bible quote)

Designs inspired by one of Rembrandt's portraits of Jesus (Head of Christ, c. 1648-56). The portrait is moving, showing the face of a vulnerable human man, kind and sensitive. I guess that is why I wanted to add a bible quote that I found on Pinterest: "I loved you at your darkest". Actually, the words in the bible (Romans 5:8) reads "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us".
