St. Mark the Evangelist COLLECTION (RLS 09)

St. Mark the Evangelist (1st century) authored the earliest—though shortest--of the four Gospels, which emphasized Christ’s as Redeemer of all nations, and practiced what he preached: He carried the Gospel’s message to Africa establishing the Church at Alexandria, Egypt. There he served as bishop and founded a celebrated institution of higher Christian learning.
