Stylized Ribbons of Color Abstract CricketDiane

This is a style of art in a series that I've been working in since about 1979 here and there. It has evolved to what you see today in this collection as designs using some of the original works altered specifically for this purpose by adding colors and glitter and effects. Very nifty. The style is based on twisting ribbons of shape and color to define the negative spaces that are not there into whatever animal or subject that it is. This has created some very interesting and unusual artworks over the years and this style is one I really love. Other artists have taken it up now and done some really amazing things with it too.
