This original watercolor is inspired by Jane Austen. It depicts a view of Bath, England, from the walk up Beechen Cliff, which Catherine Morland and the Tilneys climb in Northanger Abbey (Volume 1, Chapter 14). Taken from an original painting by award-winning watercolor artist, Carolyn Marshall Wright; based on a photo taken by author Lori Smith, during research for her book, A Walk with Jane Austen.
