Native American Red Black Haida Art Thunderbird Mugg

Gift your friend this mug with a great Haida art Thunderbird. You can't go wrong with Northwest coast Haida art, it's been popular for decades. These First Nations designs are ideal for apparel and always look good. Form-line is an indigenous art made by the First Nation people of Northwest coast of North America. The term form-line is invented by Bill Holm. We use the word since 1965, but the art is many hundreds of years old. The idea is to create a flowing continuous line with increasing and decreasing thickness. We get negative spaces with a dominant black outline. The negative spaces are filled with form-line type ornaments or elements. The main forms are ovoid's, U forms and S forms. With these forms the artist composes a complete form-line.

This mug is great fun, although it's a JAVA mug rather than JS, it's still cool and quirky :). Very good quality on it, seems to handle dishwasher and microwave just fine (so far, aka 2x) I was worried but it seems to be very good quality and the print is clean and legible
