Pretty Laurel High Cheerleader and Red Corvair Mugg

Growing up in my hometown, I made lots of great, life-long friends. This girl was one of them. Not only was she cute on the outside, but she was also sweet and kind on the inside. When I returned from England to graduate with High School Class, I was without a car. She gave me a ride to school everyday until I bought my own car. She laughed at all my crazy stories and jokes on the way to school and her laughter was like music to my ears. This is an illustration from my book, “The Kid From 5th Street Creek” by Perry Koons. It is a collection of my memories growing in Laurel, Maryland.

This mug is great fun, although it's a JAVA mug rather than JS, it's still cool and quirky :). Very good quality on it, seems to handle dishwasher and microwave just fine (so far, aka 2x) I was worried but it seems to be very good quality and the print is clean and legible
