Raja Ampat, an archipelago off the northwest tip of Papua, Indonesia, is often called one of the most biodiverse marine environments on Earth. Comprising over 1,500 small islands, cays, and shoals surrounding the four main islands—Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo—this remote paradise is part of the Coral Triangle, the global center of marine biodiversity. Its turquoise waters, dramatic limestone karsts, lush jungles, and pristine beaches make it a dream destination for divers, snorkelers, and nature lovers.
