Relativity (type 5) armbandsur

Relativity (type 5) armbandsur

"Relativity" is one of the major concepts in physics, for example, known as Einstein's special and general relativity. In the wide sense, the word "relativity" implies that the appearance or existence of things are relative to the point of view or relationship to the other things, and in this sense, "relativistic consideration" naturally induces "symmetries" in various physical considerations (symmetry often appears as an equality of physical expression in different viewpoints). "Symmetry" is also a very important concept in modern physics. \ "Relativity" is, although depending on the situation, often closely related to the concept of "relationalism". "Relationalism" suggests that all existence appear as relationships between things, and there is no entity which is completely independent of the other things. \ In ancient times, relationalism radically bloomed in Buddha's thought, called "sunyata" (which is often translated as "emptiness"), and this concept was deeply theorized by Nagarjuna in later years. "Sunyata" is a very deep and radical insight, then Buddha derived "non-self(anatman)" from this thought. \ On the other hand, Einstein's relativity theory seems to include an entity which is not necessarily relative to the other things, but, possible to exist independently as itself, which is called "space-time continuum" (Einstein field equations permit universes where there are no matters. "Space-time" can exist without any matters, at least formally, as opposed to Einstein's inspiration affected by Mach's relativistic considerations). \ Of course, Einstein's theory denied the absoluteness of flow of time, and absolute rest frame, and space and time are dealt with as the one integrated entity (space-time) and its appearance as "time" or "space" is relative and depends on reference frames (or observers). Furthermore, in Einstein's general relativity, space-time and matters are affected dynamically each other. Therefore, in that sense, one can say that Einstein's theory is definitely "relativistic". \ However, in general relativity, the universe is expressed as "a space-time manifold", which is mathematically absolute existence, despite the fact that its tensor expressions are transformed dependent on the coordinates spanned to the manifold. In conclusion, I think that Einstein's relativity theory is somewhat rather an "absolute theory", which revealed "the absoluteness of universe" behind "the relativistic translation rules of the physical expressions" (that is, coordinates translation rules of the physical expressions). \ Einstein's relativity might be "a relativity of appearance of things" (but, dynamics of space-time and matter might be "a relativity of existence of things"). On the other hand, "relativity" induced by "relationalism" would be often "a relativity of existence of things". \ In modern aspects, I think that "modal realism" discussed in the field of modal logic, and "many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics" are somewhat leading to the relativistic way of viewing the world. Fullness (real existence of all possible worlds) is equal to nothing (emptiness).
