WWII WASP Pilot Ornament Women Flew every aircraft the men flew in WWII just not in combat. Although target practice for machine gunners with live bullets would be very like combat. Many brave women lost their lives flying aircraft across America to free up men to fight overseas. Some were the first drone operators of aircrafts or flew test missions on aircraft. They were finally after years of secrecy awarded a metal for their bravery and allowed to speak about what they had accomplished paving the way for women in the air and space programs. This has my Aunt's name on it but it can be changed to another name or removed.
