First Love

Taken in Claremont, CA at one of my husband's private coaching sessions. He set his favorite glove down with the ball inside as he moved on to the next station. When he turned around, he found me in the middle of the field, I was lying in the dirt. He was exasperated, I was happy, the kids were laughing. This is not just an image of a glove and ball, this is a portrait of his first love.
