Lighthouses

One way to appreciate a lighthouse is a stormy night at sea aboard a small sailboat using a GPS that appears to be as confused as you. Of course, taking a bearing from a small pitching deck presents its own joys, however both will likely bring you home. Another is to climb the 200+ step wrought iron spiral staircase and imagine using a pulley system with hundreds of feet of line to raise the five gallon can of fuel and the ability to do this several times during the night. Repeat.
