Pilipinas Ink is a collection rendered in the ancient East Asian tradition of sumi-e ink wash painting — monochromatic black ink and warm gold on aged cream parchment, framed by continuous indigenous Filipino geometric borders that honor the weaving traditions of the archipelago's many peoples. Each tells a complete story across three connected panels. From the ruins of Cagsawa to the open Pacific. From the walled streets of Intramuros to the lotus gardens of Lake Sebu.
