A.N.G.E.L.S is a non-profit organization that helps artists in desperate financial need. Unlike other professions, artists do not get unemployment when their services are no longer needed. The majority of artists are self employed and do not have insurance. Although art is everywhere from the label on your ketchup bottle to the billboards in Times Square, it is one of the first positions to be cut in a rough economy. Many artists are struggling to pay their bills and keep food on the table, not to mention paying for costly things such as diabetic supplies or surgeries. A.N.G.E.L.S accepts monetary donations via PayPal as well as artistic donations that will be used to sell on products to raise money for the current ANGEL in need.
