Finding that ideal present for those special individuals in your life—the kind that lights up their eyes when they open it, the kind destined to be treasured and loved, not shelved and forgotten—is an art. It's a gift that remembers...the one that will be brought out, year after year, and bring the memory back just as fresh as if it were yesterday. Looking back, most of the gifts that hold those treasured places in my heart commemorate a special life event or categorize a year: the birth of a child; a baby's first Christmas; a "big sister" or "big brother" experiencing their first Christmas with new siblings; that year that your kid played trombone in an award-winning school band or played football or cheered for a team that took state; a favorite family pet (one that provides the family with daily joy, or one that has only fond memories to recall); a precious person that is holding us a spot in Heaven until we get there... The list goes on and on, and the occasions are many, but the individual gift brings with it a personal and special remembrance of “that time.” Those are the gifts we strive to give, and the gifts that we love to receive. In that spirit, I decided to open a little shop that would achieve just that: the memory. I want to make that cozy feeling a part of other folk’s lives, because it is one of the things that I love most. A tangible item that can be held in the hand, yet invoke the intangible gift of a special moment, milestone, or occasion. I believe those are the most precious gifts a person could give a loved one, and I would love to be a part of your special memories and milestones.
