I found my creativity and passion for expression on the road to recovery after a traumatic time in my life that impacted my mental health. Creating designs and artworks using circles was something that promoted calmness and mindfulness, allowing me to effectively uncover, release and express my emotions and calm the state of mind. I have always enjoyed being creative, but rarely had the time to personalise my practice. Through community Art Groups and Art Therapy, I have built confidence and received encouragement to express myself. Circles carry deep symbolism. They create a visual balance within artwork and convey a sense of peace and tranquility. The circular shape can also be seen as a metaphor for the balance and harmony that we strive for in our relationships, our environment, and within ourselves.
