Home Brewed Soaps

My soap making journey began about 8 years ago when I started making soap to give as gifts to my friends and family. I naturally fell in love with the process and the product. The positive feedback I received influenced my desire and decision to continue on creating , and exploring different recipes for my soaps. Knowing that soap making consisted of liquid , lye and fats I decided to experiment with our home brewed beer that my partner brews, instead of water to give our homemade soaps a unique twist. Well the rest is history. Dustin and I collaborated our talents and Home Brewed Soaps was born. While my soap recipes have changed a bit since I started 8 years ago, my goal, desire, and reason for making, using and selling my natural handmade soap has remained the same, and that is to create and provide you a natural, skin nourishing product that you can feel good about using. Our products are safe for the environment and you. Dustin and I brew our beers and make all of our soaps in small batches right here in Rockland, Maine. We have carefully chosen oils that are not only safe for you to use but that are also cruelty free and safe for the planet as well. We have chosen to not use Palm oil in our soaps as the harvest of Palm Oil which you will find in many handmade soaps is one of the biggest reasons the habitat and wildlife is being destroyed in the rain forest today. Our soaps and products are sustainably sourced, 100% natural, chemical free, and come in recycled packaging. We make all of our soaps with our own home brewed beer however we also work some local breweries in which case we make soap for them with their beer.
