Hello and welcome! I’m a special education teacher who recently began a new chapter — moving to California to join my husband while our two daughters take their own paths out in the world. I travel between California and Minnesota to be close when they’re home, carrying pieces of the people and places I love wherever I go. Along the way, I’ve discovered a new interest in design — creating pieces that capture a touch of joy for everyday life. Each collection at Joy Ahead Design is inspired by a spirit of hope and connection — because no matter where life takes us, there’s always joy ahead.
