Karla Reid's Unique style comes from intense study, discipline and inspiration. Her pieces have evolved over the years into a complex body of work, doing mixed media collage art that border on the three dimensional. Born Macon, Georgia, Karla was the only daughter in a family of three sons. She would spend a lot of time drawing and painting as a child, before going on to study art at Macon Junior College and the University of Georgia. Karla has been showing her work since 1992. Her works can be found in the homes of businesses of some of the most noted art patrons in the country.
