The Official Cookout Pass – Gag Gift Postcard was born in the Quad Cities (Davenport, IA) in May 2025. Created by the artist Slone, what started as an inside joke between friends quickly became a playful, heartfelt way to recognize homies, allies, colleagues, and play-cousins of all backgrounds who've shown real love and respect for the Black American community. Plenty of folks talk the talk—this card is for those who walk it. Yard signs and bumper stickers are easy. But a Cookout Pass? We don't give those to just anybody.
