Ridgewoodcats

It all began when Bella entered my life, my first Rescue. When we moved to Ridgewood, we began to foster for local Rescues and our kitty population grew. Our Fosters came with us when we moved to Alabama. It was here we found the third world of cats. Cats here have it bad. Often abandoned, animal control here does little for the cats-some that are feral, some not. Very often the cats have no one. Til now. We have, since we arrived here, inherited one feral colony at our home. We now also feed, and TNR at 4 other places. There is no very low cost TNR nearby, so we have revamped our shop to help us with the cost of vetting (one of our first finds, a kitten, had to have an eye removed as well as vet care/neutering/shots. He is now in a great home.) We work with the 2 local rescues here-but they can only help us a little. We're hoping that you'll like some of the great stuff we have here, and in return the price will help us fund what we do. We hope to have none profit status soon, but thats a work in progress. Puurcy (friendly/found with fractured pelvis-treated and transported to a great home in NYC) Lorenzo the Magnificent (friendly-found with hurt paw-placed with rescue and adopted!) Opie (fostering with us/vetted/friendly) Digi boo (fostering with us/friendly) Hissy Missy Kissy Batman Ming Top Cat Ahead we hope to TNR 'John's Cats' / The Shell girls/ The big W cats
