Builders and rowers of St Ayles Skiffs in Northumberland... and now T Shirt designers too How it all happened? Well, it all started out of frustration (trying and failing to find much in the way of rowing related Christmas presents) and has turned into an unexpected opportunity. We’re always on the lookout for new ways to help raise funds to support our club, and thought it may be an idea to produce a range of T shirts and other stuff all with the theme of Coastal Rowing. We’d never designed shirts before…. But we hadn't built a boat before either, so the thinking caps went on (as did the strong coffee) What’s in Skiffie shop? We’re starting with a handful of unique and exclusive designs based on the building and rowing of our beloved St Ayles Skiffs and the fantastic Skiffie community that has grown as a result What’s coming next? We will be adding new designs as and when time, tide and inspiration allow. Any suggestions for designs you’d like to see would be appreciated. Where does the money go? We do want to be completely open about the running of this shop. For each product sold we make roughly between £0.50 to £3.30 profit on each product sold and ALL of this goes directly into club funds. All design work and time given to set up and run the shop is wholly on a volunteer basis as a fund raising activity. Want to know more?
