Impressions Art

This is the shortest description that I could put together to give you an insight into me... I had been employed with the same employer, doing the same role for 16 years. I went through the emotional turmoil of questioning myself: Is this me until I retire? Can I do anything else? - the usual self doubting questions one asks oneself when they observe the world around them. In my spare time I had taken a few photos of my adorable son and my sister-in-law commented "you take some really lovely shots." (shock face) I responded with "really? You think so?" As a result, I resigned from my job (Scary!) and decided to make an attempt at doing something new where I was able to express my inner vision. I hope that you too can find something to relate to in my images... Be that a memory, emotion or a thought. I am self-taught and learning all the time and I strongly believe that its never too late to try something new. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. Ann-Marie John
