Studio Foronda

Anthony Foronda is a Washington, DC native who received his BFA in Drawing from the Maryland Institute, College of Art. He was a full time graphic designer for many years working in all forms of media from print to web and multimedia. He was a creative director for a telecommunications company in DC before he moved to Putnam. Since graduating, Anthony has consistently done freelance editorial illustration for magazines and newspapers including The Washington Post, The St. Petersburg Times, The Miami Herald, NPR Broadcasting, Red Herring Financial Magazine, etc.. He has been recognized in the American Illustration annual twice, the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles three times, and placed in the Alternative Pick Awards in 2004. He is the owner of Studio Foronda, a boutique creative design and illustration shop in northeast Connecticut Anthony has taught classes at Ringling School of Art and has been a guest artist for the online curriculum for Multimedia Illustration taught at the Art Institute Online.
