Howdy! I am a martial / artist from the rural Appalachian foothills. My favorite medium is black and white graphite work, and I enjoy creating both realism and stylized art. My favourite mechanical pencils to work with are the Pentel GraphGear 500 series and I adore the transparent, gridded drafting rulers. I began offering commissions in 2010 for realistic fine art portraits of people, pets, homes, and buildings, and some stylized work of original characters. When not creating art, I enjoy taking photographs. In addition to reading, writing, and drawing I also enjoy cooking, gardening, martial arts, crafts, and increasing my collection of folklore, fables, fairy tales, and classic literature.
