Why Water Polo-themed gear? Well, I couldn't find any gear that showcased my "mom" spirit to support my son in his water polo adventure. Sure, there was stuff that had his team name on it, but I wanted more. I wanted cool stuff, mom stuff and water polo spirit wear that could transfer between his high school games to his club games to the Jr. Olympics and beyond. So, Ball Under Designs was launched. Why Ball Under Designs? Short version - I knew nothing about the game of water polo and my poor husband would have to tell me what the ref's calls were constantly and Ball Under was a call that was made pretty often in the game. So, ball under is a term used in the game of water polo and it's used if a player pushes the ball underwater when it is in their possession.
