I was working as an administrative assistant in a job I didn't like. My focus was just getting through work one day at a time. That's when my little dog, Elvis the Chihuahua, decided to share his dogma. Everyone is part of a pack (community, family, etc.), but everyone is also an individual with hopes, dreams, desires. Elvis says that your should choose the right pack (for support and comfort) while also following your own vision. Sometimes this takes time and planning. Sometimes the tasks and/or goals may shift or change. But you shouldn't lose track of your purpose (even if it's just earning an extra Dream Bone by being a Good Boy!).
