It was on my heart to start my own christian apparel company, and call it Servant Tees! But then I came across the greek word for Bond Slave and it was "Doulos". It was the term used whenever Paul talked about being a slave or bond servant to christ. I decided to go with that, and just start making designs and learn as I go! I work for a major tee shirt company In New York City, and continue to learn as I move forward with this! I am currently a student at Bible college, living in California while freelancing for a company in New York! Doúlos (a masculine noun of uncertain derivation) – properly, someone who belongs to another; a bond-slave, without any ownership rights of their own. Ironically, doúlos ("bond-slave") is used with the highest dignity in the NT – namely, of believers who willingly live under Christ's authority as His devoted followers.
