The concept for this store began when we (me and my best friend), and some close friends, were supporting each other through very difficult life situations. Postpartum anxiety and depression, custody battles, pregnancy, unexpected loss of a young sibling, possible divorce from a long-term relationship, poverty, self sabotage, trauma, and the process of healing from trauma… the list goes on. It was during this time that we decided to take back our lives. We started to understand that everything in our lives, including how we react to situations is 100% based on us. We realized that all the insecurities that we had and questions and traumas had nothing to do with us. They were caused by the trauma and insecurities of other people, and none of them were true. So on April 14, 2023 this group of strong women, decided we were going to take our lives back. We started seeing 414 as a reminder to each other on the hard days, that other people’s thoughts, words and actions weren’t about us. That we could decide our future and we could decide how we feel and what we do and how we act. It became a staple in our friendship, and so embrace 414 was born. To embrace 414 you have to accept your whole self exactly as you are. You have to stand strong, knowing that you are you and no one can take that away from you. You have to stand strong, knowing that you control your future, and that the only permanent in your life is you. We can’t choose what life throws us, but we can choose how we react, and we can choose to use the cards we are dealt to help ourselves grow and become stronger. You’ve got this - Embrace414.
