One day, when I was feeling unhappy, impatient, and stuck, I went for a walk on my lunch break. I prayed to the Universe for a sign - anything - to give me some encouragement. Twenty minutes later, I came to the end of the path along the canal and turned around to head back to work. There, on the path where I had just stepped moments before, was a large and beautiful feather. As I had recently begun playing around with some feather paintings in my spare time, this was a particularly meaningful and magical sign. So, I've continued to look for, find, and paint with the feathers that fall into my path - giving me a creative outlet and honoring the inspiration and encouragement that has been given to me.
