I have enjoyed designing products on the Zazzle site for many years. As a career job, I teach in an elementary school. Near the beginning of my time here, I designed butterflies using all heart shapes. Over time, I used hearts as the basis of making many more designs (flowers, bears, fish, etc.). You will also see lots of color in most of my designs. Colors that contrast and ‘pop out’ are some of my favorites as well as creating ‘rainbow’ type designs. I like to try unique things (such as my smile design that has a transparent background), and ideas of activities that I use while teaching in a second-grade classroom (such as my ‘holey helpers’ for multiplication, and my ‘learning clock’ for lessons with time). I have intended to make my products as ‘templates’ so that they can be personalized and customized. I do sometimes forget to label them as such (and some of my first designs were done before I fully understood how that worked), so if you need it to be marked as a ‘template’ and it is not, please contact me to get it fixed. Some of my earlier designs might be better with a few adjustments that I have learned after practice and if you find that, please let me know. Feel free to change the background color, the size of the design, etc. You may also add in your own text such as a name to further personalize/customize a product. I sometimes add my text as an ‘image’ instead of using the provided ‘text’ tool which means you must ‘delete’ that ‘image’ and then add in ‘text’. Doing it this way allows more creativity with my design even though you are not able to exactly replicate it. I am happy to provide samples of ideas and/or design something that you want.
