The Greenland Heritage Line™ is owned by Dick & Elise and Mary of GCEmb Greenland Custom Embroidery. Elise was born and raised in Greenland. Dick, of Puerto Rican descent, was stationed in Greenland in the early 1970s, where he met and fell in love with Elise. Their 2nd daughter, Mary, is the perfect blend of Greenlandic, Danish and Puerto Rican heritage. She is also the graphic designer of the family. In the summer of 2013, Dick & Elise returned to Greenland and spent 4 weeks taking photographs of the land, it's people & culture. Sharing all of the experiences they had in Greenland, Dick & Elise inspired Mary to start creating unique artwork that would pay homage to her beautiful heritage.
