Welcome to my little store here on Zazzle! Two of my favorite stories of all time are Homer's Iliad and Odyssey (based in the Mycenaean civilization). When I was working on my art degree years ago, I took ancient Greek as my foreign language. In one course I got to translate the first chapter of Homer's Iliad! I then decided to pursue classical studies in addition to fine art. I love art history, and when given the opportunity to do research for a college class, I explored Mycenaean vase drawings. Their drawings really appealed to me because I love their abstractions, and they also appear a bit cartoony - quite a contrast to classical Greek art. To this day, I still play with Mycenaean art, and that is what you will find in my store. In the future, I may toss in their writing (known as Linear B), just for funsies.
