Exactly how we came up with the concept of a dating service for robots is lost in the proverbial mists of time. It would be nice to say that we had some elaborate concept cooked up, but most likely we were just blowing off mental steam at the coffee shop between classes, stumbled upon that combination of words and liked it. Then we cooked up the concept. Well, part of a concept. Our attention spans were shot, being in grad school and all, and it never really got too fleshed out, even as a fictional entity. We liked the name so much, though, that we decided it deserved life as some sort of business. And here that business is! Those who know us would probably say that while we may be creative, sticking with an idea long-term is not our strong suit. You who know us should therefore be pleased that we've accepted the fact, and have realized that snarky or funny or thought-provoking t-shirt-style slogans are about the extent of our achievable creativity. Not that we won't be asking some of you to read our radio dramas, as soon as we finish one. But we digress.
