AT 19 my son was seriously brain injured by a drunk driver. He was in a coma for a year, but I brought him home from the trauma unit. It has been 5 years. He came out of the coma 13 months after the accident, but is a spastic quad and can not communicate well. But I love taking care of him and spending time with him.
