I started photographing and drawing the flowers in my neighborhood in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. With a very long winter and short summer the flowers I photograph get me through the winter. I love simple flowers and I am so excited to share my drawings with you. There is a soft quality to my work with bright colors or simple black-and-white outlines. He passed several years ago and I started to apply myself more to my art work after his passing and named my studio after his term of endearment for me.
