Our journey through life will be fuller and pretty darn awesome, if we add a little bit of creativity! “We are fearfully and wonderfully made” I consider myself a mixed media artist. I have been creating for as long as I can remember, and have been creating mixed media art at Meadow Bug Studio professionally since 1999. Recycling found objects, and the process of creating something beautiful or whimsical from unwanted treasures is what I love most. As far as mediums used, well that would be just about anything I can get my hands on. My favorite projects come from my imagination and making little critters that have a touch of whimsey and humor. I am greatly inspired by the beautiful nature all around; colors, shapes, textures. I enjoy searching for something quirky about animals, bugs, and plants to use when I create. When people look at my critters and smile, I know I’ve done well.
