Someone recently asked me if I had always been a Jewish artist. My answer? Before October 7, 2023, I considered myself an artist who was Jewish. After that day with its horrific events, my art—subject, expression, intensity—changed, and I soon realized I was a Jewish artist. Add moving to New Mexico in 2018, after almost an entire lifetime in New York City and adjacent burbs in New Jersey, and my art changes again, mostly relative to color palette. The art I offer here on various products results from all that.
