Unforgettable Fractals

Well, now that you know that I'm a fractal artist (since January 2005), it is about time that I tell you all about some other stuffs that I also do: I started my "carrier" when I was only 14 years old. I was part of a journalism club at school and by that time I've been asked to be the club's director. This means that I was responsible for all the things we did in that club, such as organizing interviews, coordinate the photography and post production teams, graphism, page design and final composing, final model print and photocopies in a total of 250 newspappers at every 1,5 months. Yes, at the age of 14. Today, I'm a graduated Graphic Designer and I've been working as a freelance designer for the last 2,5 years, designing catalogues like catalogues and press ads, promotional flyers, 3D scenes, web animations and also web interfaces. You can see some of these works in my other dA gallery at http://melanargia.deviantart.com/ - which i use not only as an on-line portfolio for my official projects but also as an on-line gallery for art in general, such as illustration; graphic design projects; Flash projects, web interfaces and animations; 3D renderings and 3D animations; and also photography. I'm always updating it to insert new official projects and also to translating older ones to English. All my latest projects are in English (some of them may be incomplete to avoid art theft). I also was lucky to work with a band called Icon And The Black Roses (considered as the best Portuguese Glamour-Metal band in 2005 by the readers of the magazine: "LOUD!" which is the best-selling local magazine about heavy sound styles) and my name appears in the "special thanks" section of their same-titled album. Recently, I've discovered the passion for web design. I've been learning HTML coding (just visit my live journals at http://metamorfose.deviantart.com/journal or http://melanargia.deviantart.com/journal ), Java Script and PHP (basic) coding and also CSS for visual themes and styles. And I'm also working on my own website and it will be on-line soon such as my blog at MySpace. Apart from all this, I'm also an amateur photographer (both film and digital) and I've learnt to develop and print black and white photos in darkroom; a 3D scener and an illustrator too (both traditional and digital way). I'm able to paint on canvas using different materials, such as: watercolour, tempera, oil pastels and hard pastels.
