Natasha Cameo is a contemporary artist working in the genre of decorative painting; she explores the beauty and joy of everyday life through color, texture, and recognizable subjects. From an early age, she created her own stories, drawing comics and fashion magazines. Art school provided her with a foundational skillset, while her training as a graphic designer taught her to think in terms of composition, color, and space. She went on to study and work in graphic design and illustration. Over the course of 15 years, she developed visual imagery for brands, interiors, and print media. She also created her own line of posters, which now adorn homes across the country. Her design background taught her to consider spatial context—specifically, how an artwork functions within an interior and how it influences mood and atmosphere. She has carried this approach over into her painting practice.
