Nerderflies

Like many artists, my artwork has always had a twofold purpose: to keep me sane, and to make other people smile. I love working with inkpen, gouache, and acrylic (not necessarily all at the same time). Among my favorite subjects are birds and dinosaurs. I have dabbled in picture book and curriculum illustration, comic art and cartooning, but at the moment I'm focusing on whatever makes me happy without any particularly large projects in mind. The shop name "Nerderflies" came about from the time my husband told me that I was a dorkerpillar, and we spent more time than is respectable speculating on what exactly a dorkerpillar would metamorphose into.
