anjchang combines the designer's passion for art, fashion, and computing. The art of tinkering is to mess around with a system. anjchang grew up doing all the right things, excelling at school, and doing good for her community. She worked in corporate high tech and traveled the world speaking on their behalf about design and engineering. All that changed when she became a mom, and realized her motherly instinct was stronger than she had anticipated. Love is best. Family is first. She decided that she would tinker with the system that told her she should work for others. Staying at home ensures that her puzzle solving,nature-walking, book-worm cocconing, math-inspired, LEGO loving, fiber arts values are passed on to her children. However she enjoys programming and teaching people how to use 3D printers in the library, volunteering at the local school, and encouraging people to learn how to use technology to be creative. Sometimes she teaches classes on programming at a university or college, but most of the time, she works on her vision of TinkerStories http://tinkerstories.com helping parents be better teachers and mentors to their children. She wants to help parents bond with their kids through teaching them how to read. In her perfect world, all parents and children will have all they need to enjoy and create together.
