I decided to open this second store because I am a huge advocate for mental health and wanting to defeat the stigma behind it. I and so many other have suffered from mental illness and everyone will be touched by it in some point in their life whether it affects them personally or a loved one. People should be free to talk about mental illness just as easily as physical illness. It is just as dangerous and Can be treated. I want to make this store about recovery and gaining the courage to fight. I want to spread awareness and maybe even take this further someday. But for now, here we are. People are more than their illness. They define themselves through who they are.
