We lost our son, Johnathan Gabriel "Nugget" Huff, on 12-20-20. He was just 23 months old when he suddenly died one Sunday morning after accidently swallowing a button battery. The battery burned through his esophagus and aorta which caused massive blood loss and death. I've been trying to raise awareness about the dangers of button batteries through my Facebook group, Button Battery Awareness, website www.buttonbatteryawareness.com, and networking with healthcare professionals throughout the US.
