You might be wondering what the 412 stands for. It stands for 1 Timothy 4:12, a verse in the Bible that really encourages me. I moved in 2009 to Dublin, TX, home of Dublin Dr. Pepper and Cottonwood Baptist church. I wasn't sure about moving, but I am so glad I did. If I hadn't, I would never have met all of the amazing and wonderful people here. For once in my life I really feel like I'm in the right place and Dublin will always be home to me, no matter how far I travel. Cottonwood Baptist Church has been such an encouraging place for me, and the friends I have made there I will never forget. Dublin may be a small town, but I have always held small towns in high regard. Nothing is more humbling and homely to me than a small town, where people know one another and get together to help one another. On January 11, 2012, the Dublin bottling plant was told they by big DP that they could no longer sell anything with the Dublin name on it, including the soda. This has been a huge blow not only to Old Doc's Soda Shop but to also to the whole town. Dublin DP made this town what it is and now we suddenly find ourselves having to keep the town going without Dublin DP. We are fighting hard to regain our feet and keep the town running, but it's going to be hard and we have a long road ahead of us. 10% of all purchases will be given to the city of Dublin.
